GORING GAP: this morning: the most numerous migrants overhead were 48+ Siskins west. Also over: 4 Grey Wagtails east, a few Yellow Wagtails and Sand Martins. 8 Wheatears on the beach and 2 Whinchats in the weedy field. Only 37+ Gannets and 5 Sandwich Terns over the sea. SALVINGTON: A single Common Gull dropped into Durrington rec this evening, single Sparrowhawk over. Nick Bond

SOMPTINGFootpath heading up the hill next to St Mary's Church: at least 7 Wheatear and 6 Whinchat on the fence posts. In the hedgerow by the Down's Barn dew pond 8 Spotted Flycatcher. Also multiples of Willow Warbler, Chiffchaff, and Whitethroat, plus 3 Kestrel20+ Spotted Flycatcher around the Downs Barn and hilltop, plus 4 RedstartTom Sadler
