GORING GAP: A Bar-tailed Godwit, a Wheatear, a Yellow Wagtail, two Shelducks, 18 Sanderlings, 25 Turnstones, a Mediterranean Gull, a Pheasant, a Gannet, a Little Egret, seven Swallows, a Treecreeper and a pair of Great Spotted Woodpeckers feeding young (DKC).
MILL HILL-BEEDING HILL; At least two Lesser Whitethroats singing at Mill Hill, a Mistle Thrush, four Corn Buntings singing. Two Ravens and a Peregrine at Beeding Hill (SOS).
WEST WORTHING: At least four Swifts were overhead, which was reassuring as I haven't had a sniff of any round here for days (DKC).
