FERRING RIFE: A bright male
Yellow Wagtail was only my second on the deck locally this year. A
Red Kite was viewable towards Highdown. At least six
Great Crested Grebes were offshore, along with a
Common Tern, four
Sandwich Terns and four
Gannets. Other observations included two
Whimbrel, four
Reed Warblers, a
Lesser Whitethroat, two
Swifts, four
Oystercatchers, a
Mediterranean Gull, a
Little Egret, a
Grey Heron, an adult male
Kestrel, a
Reed Bunting, a singing
Goldcrest and seven
Moorhens (DKC).
