ADUR ESTUARY: Two
Whimbrel and the drake
Shelduck still (SOS).
CISSBURY RING: I decided against a dawn start today and went back to bed for a bit. Once it warmed up, I cycled to Cissbury Ring, where six
Stonechats included my first juvenile of the year. Four
Yellowhammers showed nicely and another highlight was two
Buzzards spinning with locked talons, a dramatic sight quite low above me. I counted 20
Whitethroats, and five
Swallows were seen. Two
Firecrests were nearby (DKC).
