ADUR ESTUARY: Greenshank, c40 Turnstones and two Ringed Plovers, plus two Sparrowhawks and two Redshanks (SOS).
ANGMERING PARK ESTATE (borders): At least two CROSSBILLS, two Redwings, two Red ites and five singing Firecrests (SOS).
BROOKLANDS PARK: Three Cetti's Warblers, six Chiffchaffs, a Buzzard, eight Teal, Mute Swan at nest and Great Crested Grebe offshore. Another seawatcher had - late morning - a Red-throated Diver, 20+ Common Scoters, a Gannet and two Great Crested Grebes offshore, then in the park a Willow Warbler and three Blackcaps (SOS).
CISSBURY RING: A Wheatear, a Peregrine, 21 Meadow Pipits, five Yellowhammers, nine Skylarks and a Lesser Black-backed Gull (Bt).
GORING GAP: Sparrowhawk, Buzzard, six Skylarks , the rough field held a grounded I wouldn’t want Chelsea to be crowned premier league champions if they hadn’t actually won it!! Mind you that may be because we’ve won it before🤣🤣🤣🤣, 2 Pheasants and a single Linnet flew off west, in the middle plantation, a singing Blackcap (Bt).
HIGH BARN GOLF COURSE: A Willow Warbler, five Firecrests, a Redwing, five Blackcaps, three Chiffchaffs and a Yellowhammer (Bt).
HIGH SALVINGTON: Sparrowhawk, two Buzzards, Chiffchaff and Blackcap (Bt).
PATCHING: GREAT WHITE EGRET flew west (SOS).
SALVINGTON: 5 Greylag Geese flew over Durrington rec headed of east, a single Buzzard again, 2 Long-tailed Tits in garden (NB)
SHOREHAM: Two Oystercatchers, four Buzzards and a Sparrowhawk, plus two flocks of Common Scoters, nine Greylags, two Great Crested Grebes, a few Gannets, a Sand Martin and some Meadow Pipits (SOS).
STEYINING HORSESHOE WOODS: At least four Firecrests, two Marsh Tits and two Nuthatches (SOS).
UPPER BEEDING: Cetti's Warbler (Bt).
WEST WORTHING: Observations at home included a Peregrine, a Blackcap, a Coal Tit and two Great Black-backed Gulls (DKC).
WIDEWATER LAGOON: Two Little Egrets, two Redshanks, two Mute Swans and four Mallards. Offshore a Gannet (SOS).
WORTHING: Red Kite flew over (SOS).
