BROOKLANDS PARK: Five House Martins, two Swallows and a Willow Warbler. Two Whimbrel and eight Sandwich Terns on beach. Mute Swan with seven cygnets (SOS).
GORING GAP: Two Great Crested Grebes, three Sanderlings, five Turnstones, a Lesser Black-backed Gull, a Swallow, a Mallard and three Sandwich Terns (Bt).
LANCING: Wheatear (Bt).
SHOREHAM FORT: Wheatear (SOS).
WIDEWATER LAGOON: Two BLACK-THROATED DIVERS (one summer plumaged bird flew east at high tide and one on the sea early morning), plus Arctic Skua and 13 Bar-tailed Godwits past. Bar-tailed Godwit and Whimbrel still on lagoon, two Redshanks, two Oystercatchers, three Little Egrets, a Mute Swan, five Mallards, four Sandwich Terns and two Gannets (Bt).
