GORING-BY-SEA: A Jay flew over the flat from my balcony this morning (GJ).

GORING GAP: At high tide there were 66 Turnstone, six Sanderling and singles of Ringed and Grey Plover roosting on the beach. Offshore there was a couple of distant Gannets and other notables included five Red-breasted Merganser which flew east (GJ).

STEYING ROUNDHILL: Firecrest, four Marsh Tits and Yellowhammer (Bt).

WEST WORTHINGGarden birding today produced two Grey Herons, a Meadow Pipit, 16 Jackdaws and two Stock Doves overhead. Jay and Great Black-backed Gull (surprisingly infrequent here, just a couple of streets back from the beach) were 'lockdown ticks', bringing the total to 40 species (DKC).
