BROOKLANDS PARK: Cetti's Warbler still (SOS).
FERRING RIFE: A short walk along Ferring Rife this morning was quiet, though an adult male Sparrowhawk almost hitting me in the face was quite a thrill. Other than that, 113 Meadow Pipits seemed to mostly involve birds arriving off the sea and a Reed Bunting was calling. A pale Buzzard flew high overhead and a Kestrel was hunting. Nine Moorhens were picking around the edges and singles of Green and Great Spotted Woodpeckers announced themselves (DKC).
