LYCHPOLE HILL: SNOW BUNTING on footpath at top behind Sompting Church (SOS).
PATCHING HILL: It was pleasing to see that there were still some common migrants around this morning, including 1 Lesser Whitethroat, 2 Redstarts, 2 Spotted Flycatchers, 22 Chiffchaffs (many more than on my last visit), 4 Stonechats, 1 Whitethroat and 1 Wheatear but only 3 Blackcaps. Also 3 Firecrests and 2 Red Kites. A trickle of hirundines and Meadow Pipits flew over (SOS).
