ADUR ESTUARY: 11.00, HT, a look from Norfolk Bridge found seven Little Egret, four Grey Heron, some 40 Common Redshank, three Greenshank (pic of some) and single Lapwing and Snipe, but more impressive was the number of quartering Swallow - say 200 (pic of two such) (SOS).

GORING GAPA short look at Goring Gap today produced 28 Ringed Plovers, Sanderling and Turnstones, Dunlin and 3 Oystercatchers using the field roost and my first Brent Goose of the autumn flew W (CH/AA)
