ADUR ESTUARY: 2 Little Stints this afternoon on the Adur, flushed by helicopter and no further sign. Excellent birds for the area, last one was at Widewater in 2010.

ANGMERING: Brief Redstart at Downs Way chased off by a Robin, a Swallow east odd House Martin.

BROOKLANDS PARK: A Spotted Flycatcher along the area by the new bee hives.

CISSBURY RING: Just 1 Spotted Flycatcher  late afternoon, but at least 100 House Martin’s with smaller numbers of Swallows.

EAST PRESTON: A single Yellow Wagtail flew west along the beach, 21 Oystercatchers at low tide.

FERRING RIFE: Snipe, Kingfisher and a Common Sandpiper this evening.

GORING: 2 Balearic Shearwaters east at 10.33 am, Eider offshore and 8 Common Scoter W.

GORING GAP: 7 Wheatears this evening

HIGHDOWN: this morning: Pied Flycatcher, 2 Spotted Flycatcher, Redstart, Wheatear, 15 Yellow Wagtail, 6 Blackcap, 2 Willow Warbler, 2 Lesser Whitethroat, Whitethroat, Chiffchaff and 15 Swallow. Also 2 Mistle Thrush, 4 Bullfinch, Sparrowhawk and 2 Raven over W.
