ADUR ESTUARY: 2 Greenshank, 8 Whimbrel, 3 Common Sandpipers, 23 Redshank, 2 Mediterranean Gulls (separate ad & juv).
ANGMERING: A Willow Warbler and a Painted Lady butterfly in a private garden on Downs Way
LADYWELL: Ringing- the table below shows a good range of species but, apart from Whitethroats, in considerably fewer numbers. Willow Warblers, as expected in August, topped the ‘chart’.
SHOREHAM: 12 White Storks were reported over the skies north of Shorebam, very likely to originate from the Knepp scheme
