ADUR ESTUARY: The Greenshank, Knot and the Avocet were still around today whilst the long staying Black Redstart was still at the sailing club. 2 Gadwall were in the stream by the dogs trust.
GORING GAP: 21 Mediterranean Gulls, 32 Brent Geese east, 74 Red-breasted Mergansers on sea, 12 Curlew flew west, 55 Sanderling, 75 Dunlin, 5 Meadow Pipit in off. Garry Messenbird
MARINE GARDENS: Barely worth turning out this morning. 0815 and 0915 very little seen passing – tide a long way out and poor visability. The mergansers were within a few metres of the tide line and displaying vigorously. John Newnham
