A good variety of birds moving early morning. Best bits: Common Scoter c35E, Mediterranean Gull 59E (mostly adults), Eider 1W (female), Red-breasted Mergansers 16E, Sandwich Tern 8E 2W, Swallow 1 in, Shelduck 3W, Gadwall 2E, Shoveler 2E, Brent Geese 31E. Ralph Simpson

MARINE GARDENS: Two Shelducks, two Mediterranean Gulls, four Oystercatchers, eight Red-breasted Mergansers, two Sandwich Terns and a Great Crested Grebe offshore this morning, plus eight Meadow Pipits and four Linnets over. David Campbell
