GORING GAP: Seawatching produced a Red-throated Diver W, Brent Geese 28E 7E, ten Red-breasted Mergansers offshore. On the beach was two Ringed Plovers, a Grey Plover, 22 Turnstones, a Redshank plus a few each of Dunlin, Sanderling and Oystercatcher. A Stonechat was on the groynes. Dave Smith
LYCHPOLE BOTTOM AREA: A circular walk from the Titch Hill around to No Man's Land and back over New Hill Barn produced: Seven Stock Doves, a Red Kite, a Kestrel, 28 Skylarks, a Goldcrest, 161 Starlings, a Song Thrush, 12 Redwings, 23 Blackbirds, four Fieldfares, a Stonechat, three Pied Wagtails, 29 Meadow Pipits, 32 Chaffinches, a Greenfinch, 17 Linnets, 35 Goldfinches and three Reed Buntings.
