ADUR ESTUARY: A count of 42 Turnstones feeding in a single flock at Ropetackle was the most I've seen for some time. A total of about 70 Lapwings in two approximately equal sized flocks, one just north of the Toll Bridge, the other in the saltmarsh south of the coast road. One Grey Plover and the usual scattering of Redshanks and Oystercatchers. A flock of maybe 30 Linnets. A Song Thrush and a Great Tit singing. Steve Gilbert via SOS
BEEDING HILL: c180 Corn Buntings, a Red Kite, two Ravens, a Fieldfare and two Yellowhammers. Richard Fairbank via SOS
GORING: Male Sparrowhawk killed a House Sparrow in a garden. John Feest via SOS
MARINE GARDENS: A Fulmar, seven Wigeon, a Red-breasted Merganser, two Dark-bellied Brent Geese, nine Kittiwakes, 13 Gannets, two Guillemots, 49 auk sp and 22 Red-throated Divers offshore. David Campbell
