GORING GAP: Early afternoon, a 1st-winter CASPIAN GULL was found by GDM in the roost field. It was showing close to the road before a jogger decided to run across the field which resulted in all birds being flushed. After a short period of time it returned but settled at a further distance allowing for more distant views. Also noted was an adult Lesser Black-backed and Mediterranean Gull, two Redshanks, 20 Ringed Plovers, c100 Sanderlings mixed in with a few Dunlin. Garry Messenbird, Gareth James, Nick Bond
