BROOKLANDS PARK: Standing by the lake at Brooklands, Lancing this morning wondering what the hell I was doing as the wind and driving rain battered against me, a loud call from the tree behind me alerted me to a
ROSE-RINGED PARAKEET which soon flew east calling all the way. I know not everyone’s cup of tea but brightened up a miserable morning.

CISSBURY RING: A rare break in the rain had me ascending the eastern flanks of Cissbury which held two Mistle Thrushes, 6 Redwings, 1 Fieldfare, and 6 Bullfinches. A male Ring Ouzel was at Nepcote. Richard Ives
