BROOKLANDS PARK: Three PIED FLYCATCHERS (two by north side of stream, one by old paddling pool); also female Redstart, a Common Sandpiper, a Garden Warbler, a Whitethroat, several Willow Warblers, a Cetti's Warbler, a Reed Warbler and four Swifts. SOS. No further sign of any Pied Flycatchers in the afternoon but two Sand Martins, six House Martins and four Willow Warblers. Nick Bond
CISSBURY RING: This morning's ringing session with Val and Pete was much quieter than last time. A Garden Warbler, a small number of Willow Warblers and a couple of Bullfinches were the 'best' birds caught.
