CISSBURY RING: My first ringing session for months, with Val and Pete, was rewarded with a gorgeous Nightingale in the nets; the first that I've actually laid eyes on locally. Five Willow Warblers were also caught, several CROSSBILLS and two Meadow Pipits flew over, a Raven was seen in the distance and the walk back to the car park produced a male Wheatear. David Campbell. A Redstart reported too. Bt
LADYWELL: 12 Willow Warblers, a Sedge Warbler, 14 Reed Warblers, two House Martins, a Red-legged Partridge, a Grey Heron, etc. Bt
SALVINGTON: LITTLE RINGED PLOVER and Common Sandpiper on nocmig. Nick Bond
WEST WORTHING: Two Peregrines and a Sparrowhawk. David Campbell
