THE DOWNS: Three Whinchats along Monarch's Way near Cissbury Ring. SOS

PATCHING: Three House Martins were over Patching village as I cycled through to the watchpoint over the Angmering Park Estate. At said viewpoint, I noted four Crossbills, seven Sand Martins, two Hobbies, a Sparrowhawk, three Red Kites (including two juveniles), four Buzzards, a Bullfinch, a Mistle Thrush, 16 Swallows, 12 Cormorants, four Swifts and two Lesser Black-backed Gulls.
