BROOKLANDS PARK: BLACK-TAILED GODWIT, Reed Warbler reported, Sedge Warbler, Whitethroat, three or four Cetti's Warblers, a Willow Warbler, six Chiffchaffs, a Reed Bunting, two Little Egrets, a Grey Heron and two Sparrowhawks. Two Wheatears on beach, with Sandwich Terns offshore and c30 Turnstones (SOS).
CISSBURY RING: Male PIED FLYCATCHER, two RING OUZELS, a Redwing, Whitethroat, Willow Warbler, Corn Bunting, Yellowhammer and Swallow (Bt).
THE DOWNS (off Titch Hill): Two Barn Owls, two Tawny Owls, a Whitethroat, a Grey Partridge and a Buzzard (Bt).
EAST PRESTON: SPOONBILL and Whimbrel flew over (GDM).
FERRING RIFE: Eight Moorhens, a Grey Heron, a Sparrowhawk, a Willow Warbler, three Swallows and two Whitethroats (Bt).
FINDON: Tawny Owl at West Hill (Bt).
GORING GAP: Three Wheatears, a Swallow, a Siskin, two Whitethroats, a Treecreeper and a Yellow Wagtail (Bt).
GORING: Three Buzzards over garden (SOS).
MILL HILL: A Red Kite and two Yellowhammers (SOS).
OFFINGTON: 3 Red Kites over (AM)
SALVINGTON: 2 Red Kites (NB)
SHOREHAM HARBOUR: SHORT-EARED OWL flew in off sea in morning (PJ/BJ).
STEYNING: A Cetti's Warbler, a Swallow, two Yellowhammers and a Willow Warbler (Bt).
WEST WORTHING: An uneventful watch at home featured the Blackcap, a Lesser Black-backed Gull, a Jackdaw and mating Herring Gulls (the same pair that were at it yesterday), while a Magpie was chasing Feral Pigeons (DKC).
WIDEWATER LAGOON: BLACK-TAILED GODWIT again, Little Egret and two Sandwich Terns (Bt).
