3 Blackcaps were seen and heard on my dog walk this morning, 1 briefly in song in my garden, 1 at the end if Offington Lane/Rogate Road and one on Offington Avenue. The highlight for me was 4 Red Kites together drifting over north east very low (probably the same birds DP had over Goring), followed by 2 more to the north and another one over garden bringing the day total to 7 (NB)

SOMPTING ABBOTTS: A Firecrest, a Swallow, two Buzzards and four Mistle Thrushes (Bt).

WEST WORTHING: Garden highlights today included two Red Kites low east, a pair of Peregrines (the female carrying prey) and singles of Siskin, Linnet, Lesser Black-backed Gull and Jackdaw, plus two Meadow Pipits (DKC).
