BROOKLANDS PARK: Female/first-winter male BLACK REDSTART on groynes just to eat mid-morning. Also four male Wheatears and Rock Pipit on beach towards Splashpoint. In the park were a Cetti's Warbler, a Reed Bunting, eight Teal and five Chiffchaffs (SOS). In the afternoon a Mediterranean Gull dropped in on the lake, 14 Teal and a Grey Heron were also here, no further sign of the Black Redstart on the beach, several observers looking (NB)

GORING GAP: Six Canada Geese flew east, Curlew, Shoveler, nine Gannets, two Red-throated Divers and at least six Red-breasted Mergansers offshore. Also Stonechat and four Mediterranean Gulls (SOS).
SHOREHAM FORT: A Rock Pipit, five Red-throated Divers, six Canada Geese, two Common Scoters and a Gannet (SOS).
STEYNING: Cetti's Warbler and Grey Wagtail (Bt).
