ADUR ESTUARY: A Firecrest, five Mute Swans, four Mallards, three Moorhens, an Oystercatcher, a Mediterranean Gull, 640 Common Gulls, eight Great Black-backed Gulls, 220 Herring Gulls, six Lesser Black-backed Gulls, two Cormorants, a Grey Heron, four Little Egrets, a Sparrowhawk, a Green Woodpecker, a Kestrel, two Skylarks, a Chiffchaff, nine Linnets and a Reed Bunting (Bt).

BROOKLANDS PARK: Two Mute Swans, two Teal, a Cetti's Warbler and a Chiffchaff (NB).

FERRING BEACH: Five Turnstones (Bt).

GORING GAP: Three Wheatears (MH/LH).

LANCING: Wheatear on beach; also Fulmar, Whimbrel and five Red-breasted Mergansers offshore, plus passage of Meadow Pipits (SOS).

SALVINGTON: Red-legged Partridge and six Meadow Pipits (NB).

SHOREHAM HARBOUR: Purple Sandpiper, Turnstone, two Oystercatchers, eight Great Black-backed Gulls,

WIDEWATER LAGOON: Male Wheatear on groyne at east end and Red-breasted Merganser flew over (SOS). Four Red-breasted Mergansers, two Little Grebes, two Redshanks, three Mute Swans and three Little Egrets (Bt).
