BRAMBER BROOKS: Two Red Kites (BirdTrack).
GORING GAP: It was dead this morning. Four Red-breasted Mergansers and a Grey Heron were the highlights. Sanderling, Turnstone and Dunlin were along the beach but not counted (DKC).
I did a hour from the car in wet/blustery conditions 14 Ringed Plovers, 35 Turnstones, 11 Sanderlings, four Dunlin, two Mediterranean Gulls, 350 Common Gulls, a Lesser Black-backed Gull, 12 Skylarks, two Stonechats and five Pied Wagtails (NB).
SHOREHAM: Blackcap at Victoria Road (BirdTrack).
SHOREHAM HARBOUR: Four Purple Sandpipers still on jetty opposite fort (SOS).
WEST WORTHING: A Peregrine hung in the storm over Rowlands Road late afternoon (DKC).
WIDEWATER LAGOON: Three Red-breasted Mergansers, eight Little Grebes. Yesterday Fulmar flew past (SOS).
