ADUR ESTUARY: Greenshank still, seven Snipe, Mute Swan, a Little Egret, 25 Teal, three Little Grebes, eight Oystercatchers, six Dunlin, a Moorhen, 20 Meadow Pipits, two Skylarks, 120 Lapwings, 27 Redshanks, 80 Black-headed Gulls, 40 Common Gulls, eight Great Black-backed Gulls, 10 Lesser Black-backed Gulls, a Kestrel,  a Reed Bunting and 15 Linnets (BirdTrack).

CISSBURY RING: The GREAT GREY SHRIKE made a surprising but welcome reappearance today, frequenting the scrub near the western yew tree at the southwest end from late morning till late afternoon. Also 12 Yellowhammers flew to roost late on (M.Galtry et al).

NO-MAN'S-LAND AREA: ringtail HEN HARRIER still towards farmer's memorial. Also Raven, five Reed Buntings, a Yellowhammer, 30 Chaffinches, 100 Common Gulls, a Chiffchaff and a Stonechat (SOS).
