ADUR ESTUARY: GREAT WHITE EGRET between tollbridge and railway 10.10-10.15am then flew east. Also c100 Lapwings, three Dunlin, 10 Turnstones, a Little Grebe, a Kingfisher and good numbers of Redshanks and Great Black-backed Gulls (SOS).

LADYWELL: Birds processed during ringing included two new Firecrests, a Blackcap, eight Chiffchaffs, two Goldcrests and 14 Long-tailed Tits. Also a Buzzard, a Moorhen, two Green Woodpeckers, a Great Spotted Woodpecker, 20 Goldfinches and a Grey Wagtail (SW et al).

FERRING RIFE: Black Redstart at caravan site (GJ).
