ADUR ESTUARY: A visit during the rising tide this morning produced a Rock Pipit, a Snipe, two Grey Plovers, 20 Teal, a Cetti's Warbler, a Little Grebe, 60 Linnets, six Skylarks, two Stonechats, two Grey Wagtails, a Reed Bunting, 15 Redshanks, 85 Lapwings, a Little Egret, five Grey Herons, two Mute Swans, five Common Gulls, three Song Thrushes, three Meadow Pipits and a Buzzard (DKC).

BROOKLANDS PARK: An afternoon visit to Brooklands with 4 species of tit including a Coal Tit in the northern section of the park. In the sallow island copse were 5 Chiffchaff and 3 Firecrest. No sign of yesterday's Goosander. Shoreham Fort: zero offshore and only a single Turnstone. 14 Greenfinch on the fence by the lookout tower. Photo of some of the Greenfinches (SOS).

SOMPTING: A Woodcock was recently found in a garden, taken into care and released the following morning (Facebook).
