ADUR ESTUARY: A juvenile Curlew Sandpiper opposite the airport along with two Greenshanks, two Common Sandpipers, 30-ish each of Lapwing, Redshank and Sandwich Tern, three Dunlin and 34 Ringed Plovers (SOS).
GORING GAP: I only managed to pop out for an hour or so late morning, though, and the westerlies seemingly stopped migration dead. The only passerine migrant noted was a Whitethroat. The beach had 28 Oystercatchers and 23 Little Egrets. A Kestrel joined two Common Gulls and a mix of other gulls following the plough. Three Mediterranean Gulls were noted, as were singles of Green and Great Spotted Woodpecker, and two Jackdaws (DKC).
