Yellowhammers. The south west facing slopes held c50
Chalkhill Blues as well as four
Wall Browns, five
Painted Ladies, two
Small Heaths and plenty of
Gatekeepers and
Meadow Browns as well as a
Red Admiral. A short walk afterwards up to the start of the Monarchs Way junction added a dozen more Yellowhammers and another 15-20 Linnets (CH).
