ADUR ESTUARY: 20+ Mediterranean Gulls. SOS
BROOKLANDS PARK: Today's gull session was worth it for good views of five Mediterranean Gulls (a juvenile, two second-summers and two adults) and the first Common Gull of the season, an adult. There were also three Lesser Black-backed Gulls, four Reed Warblers, a Cetti's Warbler, two Little Egrets, a Grey Heron, a Little Grebe, two Goldcrests and the Mute Swan family. Six Swifts included a couple that dropped down to scoop a drop of water from the lake. A couple of new Moorhen broods were out. David Campbell
