ANINGTON HILL: Sand Martin, Yellow Wagtail and five Corn Buntings (Bt).

THE DOWNS: Two Wheatears, four Yellow Wagtails, 34 Corn Buntings and Sand Martin (Bt).

GORING GAP: Female SERIN on greensward opposite Withdean Avenue early morning (RBA). Also Whinchat, Wheatear, six Arctic Skuas, Fulmar, Willow Warbler, 87 Gannets, a Great Crested Grebe, two Great Skuas, a Grey Plover, four Linnets, 32 Sandwich Terns, Dunlin, nine Swallows, three Swifts, House Martin, Sand Martin, 17 Turnstone, Whimbrel, Yellow Wagtail, four Oystercatchers (Bt).

SALVINGTON: A good number of Swifts were noted today, with at least 30 seen moving purposely eastwards, whilst 3 Swifts seemed to be lingering around a regular colony site, a few Swallows and a single House Martin were also migrating through, raptors were up enjoying the warm sunshine, 2 of each of Peregrine, Buzzard and Sparrowhawk were observed and a single Red Kite thermaling over High Salvington (NB/NO)

STEYNING DOWNLAND: Lesser Whitethroat, Willow Warbler, Yellowhammer, Lapwing, 16 Swifts, Sparrowhawk and two Swallows (Bt).

WORTHING BEACH8 Gannets, 2 Great Crested Grebes, 1 Kittiwake, 8 Sandwich Terns, 1 Common Tern, 1 Curlew, 2 Whimbrel, 20 Sanderlings, 1 Common Sandpiper, 4 Oystercatchers (RI)
