ADUR ESTUARY: Brent Goose, five Whimbrel, two Oystercatchers, 14 Turnstones and a Little Egret (Bt).

BROOKLANDS PARK A gentle stroll around Brooklands earlier this morning was very pleasant in the warm sunshine. Surprise by the way of an Oystercatcher calling and flying north over the railway line. It actually looked like that slow display flight. Made me think are they breeding on one of the roofs on the nearby by industrial estate? Common Sandpiper was on the lake before calling vigorously before flying off. 4 Singing Willow Warbler and now 5 Reed Warbler singing. 2 Sand Martin flew over plus, the usual suspects (BFF)

GORING GAP: 2 Wheatears at pumping station (LH/MH)

LAMBLEYS LANE: Corn Bunting (SOS).

LANCING: Wheatear on beach (SOS).

SALVINGTON: Singles of Swift and Swallow were seen today, a singing Coal Tit was nearby (NB).

SHOREHAM: Two Swifts and a House Martin. Plus Dunlin and Common Sandpiper (SOS).

STEYNING ROUNDHILL: Two Wheatears, Corn Bunting, Yellowhammer and Swallow (Bt). Cuckoo and two Lapwings nearby (SOS).

SOMPTING: Spotted Flycatcher (RBA).
