BEEDING HILL: Cuckoo (SOS).
BROOKLANDS PARK: BLACK-TAILED GODWIT still; Curlew and 12 Mediterranean Gulls flew past (SOS).
EAST PRESTON: Two Red Kites flew over (GK).
FERRING RIFE: Male Whinchat, two Yellow Wagtails, a Swallow, a Whitethroat and two Willow Warblers (CH).
FINDON: Whitethroat and Yellowhammer at Church Hill (Bt).
GORING GAP: 85 Mediterranean Gulls, a Whimbrel, a Grey Plover, a Dunlin, a Treecreeper, 15 Linnets, five Meadow Pipits, a Whitethroat, a Little Egret and 11 Dark-bellied Brent Geese (Bt).
SALVINGTON: Sparrowhawk and Buzzard (Bt).
WEST WORTHING: I could hear several groups of Mediterranean Gulls moving east along the coast from my garden this morning but couldn't see any of them. A couple of Linnets flew over (DKC).
