ADUR ESTUARY: Greenshank still, 12 Lapwings, 10 Teal, a Little Grebe, 12 Oystercatchers, 16 Redshanks (BirdTrack).

CISSBURY RING: A Kestrel, two Mistle Thrushes and two Stonechats (BirdTrack).

GORING GAPThe Red-legged Partridge (presumably same bird that was reported a few days ago) was in the SW field between the Sub-station and Sea Lane this morning (Ken Hearne).

LADYWELL: 10 Mallards, eight Teal, a Sparrowhawk, two Buzzards and a Bullfinch (BirdTrack).

SHOREHAM AIRFIELD: 150 Lapwings (BirdTrack).

SHOREHAM FORT: Purple Sandpiper and four Turnstones on wooden jetty. At least six Red-throated Divers flew west (SOS).

UPPER BEEDING (SMUGGLER'S LANE [BORDERS]): Two EGYPTIAN GEESE, 40 Greylag Geese, a Grey Heron, a Kestrel and a Skylark (BirdTrack).

WIDEWATER LAGOON: Three Red-breasted Mergansers (two adult drakes), a Kingfisher, at least four Little Grebes, a Little Egret, a Redshank and two Meadow Pipits. Two Dark-bellied Brent Geese high east offshore, two Great Crested Grebes on sea, 17 Oystercatchers and a few Turnstones (SOS). Also four Mute Swans (BirdTrack).
