BROOKLANDS PLEASURE PARK: Drake Pochard, four Teal, four Little Grebes, 15 Common Gulls (SOS).

GORING GAP: There were not many birds on the beach first thing this morning, and there was very little going on offshore. The beach held a Redshank, six Grey Plovers, 24 Turnstones, 44 Dunlin, 48 Sanderlings, seven Oystercatchers and an adult Mediterranean Gull. On the sea were two Red-breasted Mergansers (DKC). Later a 1cy CASPIAN GULL was in the fields (M.Galtry). Also 233 Common Gulls, 132 Black-headed Gulls, four Pied Wagtails and a Meadow Pipit (BirdTrack).

LADYWELL: Birds included a Cetti's Warbler, two Chiffchaffs, a Mistle Thrush, 15 Mallards and two Buzzards (BirdTrack).

NORTH GORING GAP: 20 Skylarks (BirdTrack).

WIDEWATER LAGOON: Greenshank, two Kingfishers and a Redshank. 60 Dunlin on beach with 40 Ringed Plovers (SOS).

WORTHING: Two Sparrowhawks and two Redwings (BirdTrack).
